Jim Dispirito,


Jim DiSpirito has a long history in the music business, from being a multi-platinum recording artist with the band Rusted Root [Island Def-Jam Records / Polygram] to audio engineering, sound design and music production. He has produced, recorded and performed on hundreds of musical projects.

Jim has composed music for television as a series-composer for the Discovery Channel, and scored music for the History Channel, independent films, National Park Service films, television shows, and a wide variety of web-based and industrial multimedia and video projects.

As a video editor and media designer, Jim has worked extensively with viral-video projects for clients such as Harper Collins, NY book publishers and a wide variety of advertising campaigns. He also works with Penn State University and the Applied Research Laboratory to produce multimedia projects, documentary films and video-based training support packages for the Department of Defense, the National Institute of Justice, the Department of Justice, the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime & Delinquency, and NIJ funded school-safety Technical Working Groups.
